Damian’s impressive 33 year career in the electrical, refrigeration and air conditioning industry has been marked by dedication, expertise and outstanding leadership propelling him through the ranks to his current role as Managing Director of Pitkin & Ruddock Ltd. He has had numerous roles within the company including engineering, leading teams, driving sales and managing large scale projects. His journey from electrical apprentice to Managing Director serves as an inspiring example of what can be achieved through dedication, skill and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
Sarah-Jane Ashford
Finance Director
Sarah-Jane is an experienced Chartered Accountant, working closely with our Financial Controller, Ros and the head office accounts team of Heather, Lisa and Laura who provide primary finance functions for all the Pitkin & Ruddock service centres. Sarah-Jane is the grand-daughter of one of the company founders, Derek Ruddock. Her professional skills help us to continue the good principles that our family business has been built upon.
Dean Clackett
Technical & Engineering Director
Dean has been with the company for many years, beginning his career as a trainee engineer. Through his dedication and technical expertise, he progressed into leadership roles, including Operations and Health and Safety. Now, as Technical & Engineering Director Dean provides leadership and direction to the technical team, overseeing all engineering activities, technical training, and development initiatives. He plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of engineering practice and operational excellence across the business.

Sales & Marketing Director
Mark is our Sales & Marketing Director, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to the position. His journey in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry began as an apprentice with Pitkin & Ruddock, where he quickly demonstrated his technical skill and commitment. Through consistent dedication and outstanding performance, Mark progressed to leading installation teams, successfully managing major projects with precision and care. He later transitioned into a Technical Sales and Projects Engineer role, overseeing projects from initial inquiry to final delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage. With a deep understanding of both technical and commercial aspects of the industry, Mark is perfectly positioned to drive the company’s sales and marketing strategies forward, fostering growth and strengthening customer relationships.

Danny Gell
Branch Director
As our Lowestoft branch director Danny oversees the centre's operations, carrying out project engineering activities to support the wide range of customers served by the Lowestoft centre. These include the marine and wind farm industries, high tech research parks, a wide variety of manufacturing sites, general commerce and the health sector. Danny, like many of our team has benefited from working in a hands on engineering role with the company. This allows him to understand both the customers requirements and the practicalities of delivering the end product to the best possible standards.
Paul Furbank
Technical Sales & Projects Engineer
Paul is based in Norwich and covers Norfolk and the North Suffolk region. He has over 28 years of experience in the refrigeration and air-conditioning industry, starting his career as a refrigeration engineer for a local family business. Working for international manufacturers and national wholesalers has given him an extensive variety of knowledge across the HVAC-R industry. Pauls experience enables him to offer his customers unique solutions and ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the high standards our customers expect.

Maintenance Co-ordinator
Graham is based at our Lowestoft branch and works alongside Andrea, together they are essential to the daily organising of the engineers and the day to day smooth running of the service and maintenance desk. With a wealth of experience gained in the service industry Graham is very aware of the importance of clear and accurate communication, along with the need for a prompt response to all new and existing customers queries. Graham is happy working with the Lowestoft team.

Andrea is the first point of call for all service and maintenance enquiries for our customers based in Lowestoft, Norwich and surrounding areas. With over 12 years of administration experience Andrea keeps us all in line - organising the day to day repair and maintenance activities of the branch to ensure an efficient and effective provision of services to our wide customer base.

Steve is the Branch Manager of our Bury St Edmunds Service Centre. Since joining the company as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer, Steve has gained extensive technical knowledge and valuable hands-on experience. His dedication and skill quickly earned him a promotion to Technical Sales and Project Engineer, where he excelled in understanding customer needs and delivering high-quality solutions. In his role as Branch Manager, Steve is committed to fostering a supportive environment for his team, empowering them to excel and deliver the highest standards of service. By combining his industry expertise with a collaborative approach, Steve ensures the Bury St Edmunds branch continues to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Kasia is a seasoned engineering professional with a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Engineering Design & Appropriate Technology. She has a robust background in project management, particularly in the renewable energy sector. Her expertise extends to training as an energy assessor for both new and existing domestic buildings. Kasia is looking forward to applying her extensive knowledge and skills to the HVAC industry and is excited to be part of this dynamic field.

Starting as a trainee sales engineer in 1987 , he has carved out a successful career, specializing in delivering solutions and overseeing projects across various industries. Perrys work has primarily focused on the East Anglia region, where he has built lasting relationships with clients and partners through his deep industry knowledge and commitment to excellence.
Mike Defew
Service Manager
Mike is our first point of contact for all service and maintenance enquiries for our customers based in Bury St Edmunds and surrounding areas. Mike, like many of the team, has benefited from working in a hands on engineering role with the company and brings a wealth of engineering experience to the role. Having completed his four-year apprenticeship with Pitkin & Ruddock, he then went onto gain over 6 years experience as a qualified engineer working with us, before taking up his current role as Service Manager.

Caroline has 16 years of service and maintenance experience and is key to the smooth day to day running of the Bury St Edmunds branch. Caroline supports and develops the planned maintenance portfolio and together with her colleague Mike they ensure an efficient and effective service desk for all new and existing customers.

Lee Allard
Branch Manager
Lee is our Branch Manager at Pitkin & Ruddock's Ipswich Service Centre, bringing over 16 years of industry experience to the position. Since joining the company in 2010, Lee has played a key role in delivering some of Pitkin & Ruddock's most significant projects as a senior engineer. His deep technical expertise, combined with hands-on experience, gives him a unique ability to understand customer needs and oversee the practical execution of projects to the highest standards. In this role, Lee will lead the Ipswich team, driving excellence in service delivery and fostering strong relationships with customers and staff alike.

John is our Service Manager at the Ipswich branch. He is a versatile engineer with over 25 years experience . Starting his career as an apprentice RAC engineer progressing through and up to an experienced service engineer. He currently brings his knowledge, expertise and high work standards to his Service Manager role where he will continue to ensure our quality of service meets our customer requirements and expectations.
