Background:
Due to continued success and an expanding client base, The Woodbridge Vets took the exciting step of expanding their premises by adding another unit to their existing practice.
With this growth came the need for a high-quality climate control solution to ensure a comfortable and efficient environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Requirements:
The practice needed an effective air conditioning (heating and cooling) and heat recovery ventilation system across their consultation and treatment rooms, as well as the visitor entrance area. A key requirement was the ability to individually control conditions in different areas to maintain comfort and efficiency for both animals, people and essential veterinary equipment.
Activity:
The premises already had a Panasonic Mini VRF system, installed by the previous tenants. Rather than replacing the system entirely, we adapted and enhanced it to fit the new layout, ensuring an optimal and cost-effective solution:
Our work included:
- Adapting the existing system to suit the new floor plan
- Supplying and installing additional compact ceiling cassette units to accommodate the smaller room sizes
- Installing hard-wired controllers for precise, individual temperature control
- Supplying and installing a Panasonic heat recovery ventilation unit, complete with:
- Attenuators for noise reduction
- A hard-wired controller
- Spiral wound ductwork & fittings
- External weather louvres
- Volume control dampers
- Circular ceiling-mounted air valves
Equipment Installed:
- Panasonic Compact Ceiling Cassettes
- Panasonic Heat Recovery Ventilation Unit
(All controlled via hard-wired controllers for ease of use and efficiency.)
