Pitkin & Ruddock Pale Ale from the Humber Doucy Brewing Company

On 11th December we visited Humber Doucy Brewing Company to collect our bespoke beer, freshly produced and bottled especially for our clients. It was a great opportunity to meet the team, see the brewery, and learn more about the craft and care that goes into each batch.

Humber Doucy likely means “sweet shade” in French, derived from the phrase “ombre douce”.  The name is thought to have been given by French prisoners of war in Ipswich during the Napoleonic Wars who found the tree-lined path to be a welcome and “sweet shade” from the sun.

Our bespoke beer is now ready to be shared, and we look forward to delivering it to our clients very soon. Cheers to great partnerships and great craftsmanship!
