We are very pleased to support Circus Starr, the circus with a purpose.
Throughout the UK there are children who feel isolated. They may feel this way because they have a disability, additional learning needs, or their family are disadvantaged. Some may might not even have a family of their own.
Circus Starr are passionate about giving vulnerable children the chance to come together, experience our magical art form, and have some well-deserved fun at our circus inspired show.
Circus Starr - in their own words
“We believe in a world where anything is possible. We understand that attending mainstream events can be difficult for children with additional needs or families in difficult circumstances which is why we’ve created a tut-free zone; a show in which shouting out, dancing and jumping up and down are expected.
At our circus, everyone is absolutely encouraged to let go of their worries, get involved, and be themselves. We do it because nearly 1.5 million UK families can’t afford a single day out together. We do it because 50% of families with disabled children say that the stigma and discrimination they face makes them feel isolated. We create a magical world, harnessing the power of the circus and invite families with all kinds of different needs to have fun together in a safe, welcoming and unique atmosphere.”
